These are some shots of my last band, Motel Soap. We met at a local blues jam run by Big Ed Sullivan. Carl Lorentzen was the bass player in the house band so I had the chance to jam with him every now and then and we clicked. Guitarist Jay K. started showing up at the jams and we also had some chemistry so Jay came up with the idea to form a band, so Motel Soap was born! I might add that I had sold my drum kit about 15 years before that and had pretty much given up being in bands but Jay persuaded me to get a kit and it was well worth it. I love the three piece format and these are two of the nicest guys I've ever been in a band with, and they can play!! Good times!
