Those
of you that remember the golden age of vinyl record albums may appreciate
this page. Yes, it was a golden age. I won't get into the vinyl vs CD
sound quality debate here. Every payday I was at my favorite record
shops and I loved going thru the albums. It was a ritual. As of this
writing (October 2011) it seems like vinyl has made a big comeback.
I was a huge fan of album cover art and the 12 inch format was a great
way to showcase it. It's just not the same with the smaller CD format.
I went thru my album collection and decided to display some of my favorite
album covers. I may add some more at a later date. I gave credit to
the artists/photographers whenever possible. I feel they should be applauded
and credited for their amazing work. Enjoy!!
